Whether you've been trying to have a baby for a while or you've just now decided it's time to join the ranks of parenthood, one thing is certain – it should be fun. Oftentimes, the decision to have a baby is such a momentous one that we forget the process is supposed to be enjoyable. Come on now, this is sex ... it should be lighthearted, happy and – above all – pleasurable! The following tips will give you some ideas on how to make the conception of your baby a blast you will never forget!

Go on a shopping trip and find something totally different from what you normally wear to bed. For instance, if you are an old T-shirt kind of gal, pick up something lacy, flowing and formal. If you wear conservative cotton shifts, try to find an old-fashioned, plunging, baby doll nighty. Surprise both yourself and your spouse with unique bed wear. Sometimes doing something out of the ordinary can generate some serious heat. Designate it the baby-making night gown and before long, just seeing it will put you both in the mood!

Make a list of all the places you think would be fun to conceive your baby. These should be silly, off-the-wall places that make you laugh and maybe get your motor running. For instance, think how interesting it would be to tell your adult child that they were conceived on the top of the Empire State Building! Other places could include an elevator, on the top of a classic car, on an airplane or in the bedroom you grew up in. Share with your spouse and have him make a list as well. Some ideas are bound to be too far fetched to even be a consideration, but others might be within the realm of reality.
