Use white noise, like that from a fan or washer-dryer.
Carry Baby in a front sling or backpack.
Massage Baby's belly or feet.
Experiment with positions your baby likes; one that seems to work for many babies is to put him or her flat on your lap or over your arm and rub his back.
Go for a walk or a car ride.
Try to calm your own anxiety, which your baby will pick up on.
Take a bath together.
Babies like motion, so put him or her in a swing, bouncy chair or something similar.
Remember that while dark, quiet environments soothe some babies with colic, others are calmed by bright lights and action and could benefit from a trip to the mall.
