Gas Pains and Babies by Anonymous on 02/12/2010 03:16PM

My 10 week old has been suffering from birth as well. Nothing we try works. I haven't tried Mylicon but may have to. Our pediatrician tells us it will eventually go away but it is so hard to see him suffer as it affects his sleep. I too am worrying there is something more going on. We may have to take him to a GI specialist. Hillary, anything work for you yet?

My infant is 7 weeks old. She has had terrible gas since about week 3 My concern is that nothing seems to work and she continuously, at times will be wrenching in pain and crying out. When it is bad this will occur every fewseconds or minutes and can go on for several hours i have tried gripe waters, mylecum, and now zantac for acid reflux.Normal burping techniques are not working either. I am concerned that it may be symptomatic ofsomething larger.Any thoughts would be appreciated hillabouttown@yahoo.com
