  • Babbles and begins to combine vowel and consonant sounds.
  • Searches for and locates the origin of sounds from a distance of up to 18 inches.

  • Distinguishes emotions by tone of voice.
  • Responds to sound by making sounds.
  • Turns head in response to parent's voice.
  • Makes razzing sounds.
  • Imitates sounds.

Social and Emotional:

 

  • Uses voice to express joy and displeasure.
  • Gets upset if you take a toy away.
  • Responds to distress of others by showing distress or crying.
  • Displays mild to severe anxiety at separation from parent.
  • Plays peek-a-boo and hide-and-seek games.
  • Enjoys social play.
  • Interested in mirror images.
  • Responds to other people's expressions
  • Reacts toward strangers, sometimes friendly but usually with apprehension when parents are not near.
  • May gently pat either breast or bottle while drinking.
  • Frequently laughs, smiles and squeals in delight.
  • Responds with eyes and facial expressions.

our beautiful son is developing very early, he is very active and crawling all over .! Time is going by fast
